Under His Wings . . .

If you have not learned of this amazing opportunity to watch live streaming video of a Mother Eagle and her three newly hatched Eaglets, here is the place: USTREAM.   I have it bookmarked and check in regularly to view.

I am refreshed and comforted to watch the attentiveness of the Mother Eagle. . . .  I am reminded of the attentiveness and constant watchcare of of our God to us, his people, who linger under his Mothering wings (we all know that God is neither male or female~ God is both! Our Mother, our Father, our dearest Friend, our Good Shepherd, Lover of our soul.)

“For the people of Israel belong to the Lord; Jacob is his special possession. He found them in a desert land,
in an empty, howling wasteland.He surrounded them and watched over them; 
He guarded them as he would guard his own eyes.
Like an eagle that rouses her chicks
and hovers over her young,
so he spread his wings to take them up 
and carried them safely on his pinions." ( Deut. 32: 9-11, NLT)
