Unmitigated disaster

"God called Jesus Christ to what seemed unmitigated disaster.  Jesus Christ called His disciples to see Him put to death. He led every one of them to the place where their hearts were broken . . . "  Oswald Chambers

Have you finished breaking my heart yet, Lord?
I just read: "If through a broken heart
God can bring His purposes to pass in the world,
then thank Him for breaking your heart."
My heart feels lighter today~
after months of aching. . .
I feel cleaner too.
Is my bloodline cleaner?
Is Your transfusion complete?
Do my veins flow with Your own clean blood?
Have You accomplished the cleansing I need?
Am I riding on Your white horse . . .
the Rider whose name is Faithful and True,
whose eyes blaze with the purity
I desire?
I grasp Your precious, bloody robe, and know:
"For the Lord is Spirit and where the Spirit of the Lord is,
there is freedom."
Thank you, Father, for breaking my heart.

My friends, I send these words to encourage you~ if you are facing unmitigated disaster, even with Jesus as your guide~  He is doing a GOOD WORK.  Do not be afraid!  Take courage~ Do not be discouraged or dismayed. Get on the horse and hold onto the Rider. He will see you through!
